The proceeds from this golf event will provide for the continued
financial support and future growth of the Hiawatha Police K9 Unit.
The Hiawatha Police K9 Unit, which was established in 2005, has
been funded and supported thanks to the generous donations of
numerous individuals and businesses in the Hiawatha, Marion, and
Cedar Rapids community.
This year will be a special event as we celebrate the retirement of
our current Police Canine, K9-RESO, a German Shephard, that has
served since 2012. We will also introduce to you our newest Canine,
K-9 KAYA, a Dutch Shephard, that joined our department this Spring
and is currently in training.
Registration Due: Tuesday, July 28th, 2020
Team Check-In: 11:00am-Noon, August 2nd, 2020
Golfing Starts: 1:00pm Shotgun Start
Cost: $85 per Golfer
Includes: range balls, green fees, cart, drink ticket, flighted prizes dinner
with Auction/Raffle Drawing, K9 Demo, and a voucher for another round of
golf at Hunters Ridge Golf Course.
