The New Horizons Band of Cedar Rapids is playing a concert at Guthridge Park, Hiawatha, IA on Sunday, July 3rd at 12 noon during the Farmers Market. Come by and listen to patriotic tunes and other popular music from various years, directed by Alan Lawrence.
New Horizons Band offers live music for audiences at civic, community and educational venues including ceremonies for Memorial Day, Veterans' Day and Honor Flights. Members are adults who are usually retired and can rehearse on Tuesday mornings. The purpose of the band is to have fun, socialize and enjoy a variety of music.
