11th Avenue from Emmons Street to Rainbow Blvd to be restricted in width and will have limited full closures
HIAWATHA, IA – June 11 – Starting Wednesday, June 12, 2024, traffic may be reduced to one lane during daytime operations while the contractor replaces curb and gutter sections, ADA ramps, street patching and milling operations. There will be times that the roadway will be closed in its entirety as asphalt overlay work and full concrete patching is taking place. During asphalt placement, homeowners will be required to move vehicles to side streets between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Neighbors will be notified prior to full closure by the contractor.
Thru traffic should expect delays. Please try to avoid the areas during construction. All work is anticipated to be completed by June 28, pending no delays.
