Hiawatha Farmers Market Delayed until June

fm pushed back

COVID-19 is rapidly changing the way we’re handling programs and events at the City of Hiawatha. At this time, the Hiawatha Parks and Recreation Department, with the support of the Market Manager, have decided to push back the start date of the Hiawatha Farmers Market to the first Sunday in June, June 7th.  This decision did not come lightly as we know vendors need a place to sell their goods and consumers need a place to buy. However, we feel it’s in the best interest of all parties to continue to limit close contact to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
