Pirie Drive from Robins Road to Nixon Drive will be reduced to one lane for installation of new water main on the north side of the roadway.
HIAWATHA, IA – June 10, 2024 – Starting Monday afternoon, June 10, 2024, Pirie Drive will be reduced to one lane from Robins Road east to Nixon Drive. A detour will be set up for all traffic to flow east in a clockwise direction to Nixon Drive to Northwood Drive to Robins Road. There will be short roadway closures at Brandon Ave and Ryan Ave during water main crossings and restoration of the pavement. The contractor will backfill access points with rock as work is being performed.
This component of the project is expected to be completed by August 16, 2024. Thru traffic should expect possible delays. Please try to avoid the areas during construction.
