Take your unserviceable federal, state or POW flag to the drop box located outside of the Hiawatha Legion Post #735 at 207 Robins Road.

Glasses & Hearing Aid Disposal – Hiawatha Lions Club

Drop off your unwanted glasses and hearing aids in the designated box outside of City Hall from April 19th through April 30th. Lions Club will send collected hearing aids and glasses to recycling centers to help those in need.

Medication Disposal – Hiawatha Police Department

An estimated 250 million pounds of unused medications are improperly disposed of each year. Lessen the chance of unused medications being stolen or abused by disposing your prescriptions in the Drug Drop Off Box in the lobby of the Hiawatha Police Department, day or night. Pill or patch forms are accepted free and anonymously. However, needles, inhalers and liquids are not accepted.
