Fitzroy Road east of Forrest Meadow Lane will be closed for new pavement. Turtle Creek Park will be closed.
HIAWATHA, IA – October 13, 2022 – Starting Friday, October 14, 2022, Fitzroy Road will be closed east of Forrest Meadow Lane. No access to Turtle Creek Park will be allowed during this closure. In addition, there will be interruptions at the intersection for a new sidewalk crossing across Fitzroy Road to the new trail.
This closure is required to allow the contractor to finish grading the rock subbase and to place the new concrete from Forrest Meadow Lane east of the park limits.
Please try to avoid the areas during construction. All work is anticipated to last up to three (3) weeks.
