Hawkeye Drive from Boyson Road to Kacena Road closed for utility work at 1110 Hawkeye Drive. Southbound traffic will be rerouted along Kacena Road, Stamy Road and North Center Point Road. Northbound traffic will be rerouted to North Center Point Road and Robins Road.
HIAWATHA, IA – March 8, 2023 – Starting Monday, March 13 at 7:00 AM, Hawkeye Drive will be closed to thru traffic between Boyson Road and Kacena Road to allow for new utilities to be installed at 1110 Hawkeye Drive. Access to businesses south of CertaPro Painters (1110 Hawkeye Drive) will be from Boyson Road. Access to businesses north of CertaPro Painters (1110 Hawkeye Drive) will be from Kacena Drive. All southbound traffic will detour on Kacena Road to Stamy Road to North Center Point Road. All northbound traffic will detour to North Center Point Road to Stamy Road to Kacena Road or Robins Road to Tower Terrace Road. All businesses will remain open during the duration of the project.
Thru traffic should expect delays. Please try to avoid the area during construction. It is expected that Hawkeye Drive will be reopened no later than 7:00 AM on Monday, March 20, 2023.
