Robins Road from Boyson Road to Northwood Drive will be reduced in lane width for installation of new water main on the west side of the roadway.
HIAWATHA, IA – June 5, 2024 – Starting Monday, June 10, 2024, Robins Road will be reduced to two 12-ft lanes from Boyson Road south to Chaffee Drive. Reduced lanes are expected to be limited to 1,000 feet. All businesses and homeowners will have access to their properties. There may be short periods of time where access will be limited while water main is being installed or driveways are being replaced with new pavement. The contractor will backfill access points with rock as work is being performed.
This project is expected to continue through October 2024 weather pending. Thru traffic should expect possible delays. Please try to avoid the areas during construction.
