Hiawatha contracted with Ricklefs Excavating Inc. from Anamosa, Iowa for the construction of the sewer and water main extension to the newly annexed area along Edgewood Road between Fitzroy Road and County Home Road. Over 5,000 feet of 12” water main, 2,700 feet of 8” sanitary sewer and 4,000 feet of 8” pressure line has been constructed. The new lift station is now under construction and scheduled to be completed in September.
The project is funded with LOST funds and capital project funds.
